How to write with style

I read How To Write With Style in chapter 4, and I feel alot of what Vonnegut says is true. There are two specific examples in which I feel best suit me or are a true fact that everyone should be follow. The first one is that Vonnegut is from Indianapolis and that his writing style reflects that, and he says that there is no other alternative. I agree with that because where ever you were born and raised I feel that that is where you learn how to talk and write. Don't change the way you talk or write just because it is not correct.

The second specific example is about the Picasso-style and the jazz-style or writing. Vonnegut explains that you cannot sting your words together, like the book gives, higgledy-piggledy. If you want someone to be able to recognize your style of writing and be able to interprut the message behind it then you cannot have this style of writing. After reading this article, I realized that I do have my own unique style of writing. I believe that everyone should be able to be distinguished be their style of writing.

i agree that everyone should have their own unique style of writing. I know that I have a different writing style than everyone in class. In my opinion that make it better for someone who is going to read a lot of papers from people in class. You dont want to be reading the same thing over and over.
